Factory update — June 2026: Our move from Maine to Woodinville, WA is complete and we're bringing the presses back online. New orders are paused until then. Read the full statement →

America's Oldest Maker of Clay Poker Chips

Real clay chips, pressed one at a time since 1912.

No plastics, no shortcuts. Every chip leaves our factory the way the great casino chips always have — compression-molded from real clay on vintage equipment, hot-stamped or inlaid by hand.

Trusted by home games, card rooms, and collectors worldwide.

How a Chip Gets Made

The same process, for over a century.

Step one

Blend the clay

Real clay compound, mixed to the colors on our chart — including the classics no plastic chip can match.

Step two

Press on vintage molds

Each chip is compression-molded individually on equipment dating back generations, with your chosen mold pattern.

Step three

Stamp or inlay

Gold and silver hot-stamps, or full-color printed inlays set into the chip face — not stickers on plastic.

Step four

Inspect by hand

Every chip is checked before it ships. The feel, the sound, the weight — it has to be right.

Colors, Molds & Edge Spots

Thousands of combinations. One unmistakable feel.

38 clay colors — 24 weighted with fine brass powder (never lead), nine Dayglos, four 1940s Retros, and Bright White — with edge-spot patterns from Plain through Level 7, including split spots. These five are a taste; the full charts show everything we press.

Our Story

Four chapters. One craft.

1912

The company that becomes Classic Poker Chips begins pressing clay chips in America — a craft we've carried ever since.

1900s

Generations of casinos, clubs, and home games play on our chips, made on the original compression molds.

2014

Classic Poker Chips LLC carries the tradition forward from Maine, serving collectors and players worldwide.

2026

A new chapter: the entire factory moves to Woodinville, Washington — same presses, same molds, same clay.

Try Before You Commit

Hold them before you order.

Photos can't capture the heft of real clay or the sound of a riffled stack. Order a sample set from our online store and feel the difference at your own table.

"There is simply nothing else like a CPC set on the table. The weight, the sound, the way they wear in over years of play — these are the chips everything else gets compared to."
